This has been a busy year with all of the recognition my students have received at the regional and national level. The student work in all classes continues to amaze me. I am so proud of the creativity, perseverance, and work ethic of the students here at HK.
The following are just some examples of what we have to celebrate as a school community.

2019 Legislative Office Building Exhibit
Several artworks were submitted to the advocacy chair of the CAEA for the opportunity to have artwork exhibited at the legislative office building in Hartford, CT. Two of our talented students were chosen to have their work on the walls of the educational committee meeting room and the appropriations committee meeting room. Their images will be professionally framed and remain displayed for one year. The students will receive their framed artwork and a certificate from a state legislator at the end of the year.
