Course Description: This survey course was created for the student who wants to work with a variety of materials and techniques. Exploratory projects will help students develop their creativity through the use of paint, clay, craft materials and mixed media to create two and three dimensional works of art. Students will strengthen their knowledge of design and develop an aesthetic awareness by reviewing and critiquing art. This is the perfect beginning for study in such courses as drawing and painting, ceramics, crafts and areas of design. (HKHS Curriculum)
